Unlike the headphones that fight noise over a broad spectrum of frequencies, the Encore's system selectively targets unwanted engine noise while allowing pleasant notes to pass through the cabin resulting in a luxurious and muted, engaging driving experience.
Buick and Bose engineers worked together to use the existing in-vehicle speakers, including a subwoofer designed to fit in the center of the vehicle's spare tire, maximizing space and reducing added weight.
Active noise cancelation in the Encore is always working, even if the audio system is powered off and comes standard on all Encore models.
QuietTuning features also include:
Acoustically treated headliner with a tuned gap between it and the high strength steel roof panel
Sound absorbing materials in the cabin, under the hood and in the wheel house liners
Aero-optimized outside mirrors
Acoustic-laminated windshield and thicker, 5mm side window glass
Foam baffles that insulate the opening of body structure cavities
When the Encore arrives in early 2013 it is surely going to be amazing! For more information about the Encore or QuietTune, give us a call at 330-SWEENEY or visit www.sweeneybuick.com!

Take a look at what Jeff had to say about his recent visit to our Youngstown, Ohio Used Car Super Lot, our Internet Sales Manager Ryan Case and dealing with Sales And Leasing Consultant Gordon Knight:
I first corresponded with Ryan on the internet. He was very helpful and met me the day we visited the dealership. He introduced me to Gordon who was very friendly and proficient. Chevrolet recently opened a whole new chapter in its storied racing history by unveiling the eagerly anticipated 2013 NASCAR Chevrolet SS race car. Powered by Chevrolet's legendary small block V-8 engine, the rear-wheel drive performance sedan will be the newest entry in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. It will make its debut at SpeedWeek in Dayton, Fla.
The Chevrolet SS will be derivative of the award-winning glbal rear-wheel-drive architecture that spawns performance vehicles like the Camaro and Holden's upcoming VF Commodore. The limited production of the Chevrolet SS will be a 2014 model that will arrive in showrooms in late 2013. It is the first time in 17 years that Chevy is going to offer a rear-wheel-drive sedan for sale in the United States.
The SS (Super Sport) designation on high-performance models of some of its most enduring nameplates. The SS designation was first seen on the 1957 Corvette prototype race car built under the guidance of Zora Arkus-Duntov with the plan to enter the Le Mans 24 hour race.

Well, maybe we exaggerated a little. General Motors still has the real 2014 Corvette under lock and key, but for those of you who have a PlayStation 3 you can be the very first to test drive it! Put your Gran Turismo 5 game into your console and you can download a 2014 Corvette Prototype to tear up the tracks.
Chris Perry, VP of Chevrolet Global Marketing had this to say about the recent promotion: "Until now, only the most skilled drivers on the Corvette team have been authorized to push the test prototypes to the limits on some of the most challenging track surfaces in the world. Through this unique collaboration with Gran Turismo, Chevrolet is able, for the first time, to give performance car enthusiasts access to such an exclusive driving experience."
The 2014 Corvette is slated to be officially released on 1/13/13 and very little is known, but to find out what we do know about the 2014 Corvette, give us a call at 330-SWEENEY or email firstname.lastname@example.org
