The all new, redesigned Chevrolet Malibu just got even better! The 2013 Malibu made the car quieter, more efficient and even more modern. So how could they possibly improve the car again? Nobody really knows yet, so we can only speculate but GM CEO Daniel Akerson mentioned that the Malibu will feature yet another face lift! It is also expected that GM will put the new 1.6L turbo Ecotec engine into the new Malibu, capable of generating 200 horsepower with greater efficiency!
We'll give you all the information we have as it becomes available. If you'd like to find out the all new, redesigned Chevrolet Malibu give us a call at 330-SWEENEY or email us at SweeneySales@SweeneyCars.com.
We don't have any awesome photos to show of you the 2014 Malibu, as it hasn't been unveiled yet, but take a look at these photos of the 2013!

I recently purchased a used vehicle at Sweeney and was STILL treated like royalty. Jake and Gordon have been dubbed as the "Tag Team" by me. I was treated with kindness and respect from the time I entered the door. Their work on my behalf is certainly appreciated and I feel, through my own observation, that Team Sweeney is without a doubt the most...

In the wake of the 113th Army-Navy Game, Chevrolet and students from Michigan Technological University revealed a new hand cycle designed to make it easier for veterans to compete in racing events.
Stronger, as well as more comfortable, durable and portable than current commercially available cycles, the cycle was designed by Michigan Tech mechanical engineering students as part of a senior projected named Huskies Helping Heroes.
In addition to this partnership, GM Chairman and CEO Daniel Akerson announced that GM will build 10 prototypes for use next year by the Achilles Freedom Team of wounded veterans in marathons across the US.
How else is GM involved with Veterans? Over 5,000 veterans are employed by General Motors across the United States. Chevrolet assists Cell Phones for Soldiers, Achilles Freedom Team, the Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund and a variety of grassroots and employment initiatives including Hiring our Heroes. GM is committed to giving back to veterans everywhere to thank them for their service and it's for this reason that General Motors offers the most generous military discount of any other major car brand. Discounts are offered on most Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles for active duty, reserves and veterans of the US Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and National Guards branches.
To find out more about how you can put your discount to work for you, give us a call at 330-SWEENEY or email us at SweeneySales@SweeneyCars.com

When the 2013 Buick Encore arrives, it will feature the same quiet, comfortable, refined characteristics that define larger Buicks - The result of advanced acoustic technology and attention to detail.
The Encore will feature Buick's first use of Bose Active Noise Cancelation. Modeled after the popular headphones used by travelers on airplanes, this system uses small microphones to gather and analyze sound information that's then used to project "noise cancelling" sound waves through the cabin.
Unlike the headphones that fight noise over a broad spectrum of frequencies, the Encore's system selectively targets unwanted engine noise while allowing pleasant notes to pass through the cabin resulting in a luxurious and muted, engaging driving experience.
Buick and Bose engineers worked together to use the existing in-vehicle speakers, including a subwoofer designed to fit in the center of the vehicle's spare tire, maximizing space and reducing added weight.
Active noise cancelation in the Encore is always working, even if the audio system is powered off and comes standard on all Encore models.
QuietTuning features also include:
-
Acoustically treated headliner with a tuned gap between it and the high strength steel roof panel
-
Sound absorbing materials in the cabin, under the hood and in the wheel house liners
-
Aero-optimized outside mirrors
-
Acoustic-laminated windshield and thicker, 5mm side window glass
-
Foam baffles that insulate the opening of body structure cavities
When the Encore arrives in early 2013 it is surely going to be amazing! For more information about the Encore or QuietTune, give us a call at 330-SWEENEY or visit www.sweeneybuick.com!
