Did you know that Chevrolet is the official vehicle of Major League Baseball? Chevrolet is also a huge sponsor of youth baseball. Since the inception of the Chevrolet Youth Baseball Foundation 7 years ago, the bowtie brand has raised over $13,000,000.00 to aid local teams all over the United States.
Chevrolet also began the Diamonds and Dreams program, 3 years ago and since then, in partnership with Scott's Miracle Grow and Ripken Designs, 25 community fields have received makeovers.
You can find more information and enter your community field at http://www.chevybaseball.com. There will be one winner picked each week for the next 12 weeks, with the grand prize of a Chevrolet Malibu ECO at stake as well. Here's what Wendy Vasquez said about the makeover that her community's field received: “I continue to get thank-yous from people across the league. Our new field is helping so many athletes be that much better. I think it is beyond amazing that Chevrolet does this for communities and the kids.”
There are over 1,300 participating dealers that support this program, which runs until July 22nd, 2012.
