Did you know that Chevrolet doesn't just attend automotive related venues? Chevrolet is spending the week at the South By South West Music Festival in Austin, Texas asking musicians and other trendsetters to help with the interior of the Tru 140S and the Code 130R.
South By South West, or SXSW is one of the biggest musical festivals in the worlds, attended by huge acts from all over. The Tru and Code, targeted at the Millennial age group will be the bow tie brand's way to connect with the next generation of buyers.
"There are more than 80 million American consumers approaching 30 years old, and they represent 40 percent of today's potential car buyers - this is a tremendous opportunity for Chevrolet. We want to build authentic and meaningful relationships with these customers on their terms. We want to hear what they have to say, engage them in our design process and give them what they want - not what we think they want" Said Christopher Perry, VP of Chevy's Global Marketing and Strategy.
