Allow us to reintroduce you to the newly redesigned GMC Acadia and Acadia Denali

Last updated 6 years ago

In 2007 GMC released the Acadia, the first crossover with 3rd row seating. The luxurious vehicle quickly became a hit and for the 2013 model year, GM decided to give the car a complete overhaul. Yesterday at the Chicago Auto Show, this beauty was presented.

The new Acadia and Acadia Denali feature a completely redone exterior, featuring a more masculine look and new tail lamps to name a few features. The interior is also redone, now featuring ambient red lighting on the dash, leather interior and many other features. Though the car features loads more exterior and interior features, the true purpose of this article is to show you the new technology and safety features available.

The Acadia features an industry first center air bag. This airbag deploys from the right side of the drivers seat and creates a barrier between the driver and passenger to protect them from side impact collisions. Also featured on the Acadia is a standard back up camera, pictured below. Continuing, the Acadia also has blind zone alerts and rear cross traffic alerts to highlight just part of what keeps what you hold dear safe.

To ensure you have the best ride possible the all new Acadia is OnStar remotelink compatible. This enables users to view vehicle status reports, locking and unlocking capability and remote start from ANYWHERE! This app is available in the Droid Market and Apple App Store. Coming standard on the Acadia is the colot touch radio, with a vivid full color screen with the IntelliLink infotainment system option available. New with this model is the HD capable radio and picture viewer adding to the list of features.

This is a very short highlight of the features available on the new Acadia and Acadia Denali. For more information, please visit or call 330-Sweeney. Take a look at the pictures below, and let us know what you think!
